UforChange Annual Report

project overview

UforChange started in 2009 as a response to the increasing need for youth arts programs in the St. James Town neighbourhood. Since then, UforChange has been mentoring young people in the pursuit of their artistic passions through a spectrum of arts programs and workshops. Their programs are unique in the sense that they provide youth not only with foundational skills, but also access to: professional mentors, industry volunteer and employment opportunities, a sense of community, education support, and more. Initially serving young people from St. JamesTown, UforChange has grown to serve Regent Park and the Greater Toronto Area.

project idea

For this project, they wanted a fresh and bubly approach to their annual report to attract more current investors for their company. I was tasked with creating a fun and interactive template, mini illustration and graphics, while still maintaining their branding guide in text and colours.

vibrant colors and text

In terms of typography, I used Uforchange on brand type, Intro for the header and DIN regular and bold for their body text. The colours I used are true to UforChange’s style guide and organization. I wanted it to be fun, bubbly and ecstatic.

Icons

I wanted the icons to be simple clean and not derive to far away from their brand identity. The concept of these icons was to highlight the organization's participants who are young, determined and enthusiastic about the arts.
